Lemire Abdel Halim Chehab is a Lebanese/British architect and designer. He holds a BArch Degree from American University of Beirut, as well as a MArch Degree in Emergent Technologies and Design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. A full-time Lead Designer at Zaha Hadid Architects since 2013, Chehab has led design teams on a variety of projects, ranging from iconic metro stations in the MENA region, to large scale residential developments and commercial centers in various other countries. This has consolidated his knowledge and skills in architectural design, but also in team management, scheduling, and coordination. He has developed and seen to completion the KAFD Metrostation in Riyadh, one of his largest and most challenging projects to date. Chehab’s work includes urban planning and the use of computation towards the creation and evaluation of urban form. Having worked with many architects and engineers over numerous projects, his approach has been enriched and diversified with new ideas and concepts. In addition to architecture and urban planning, he is very passionate about visual art, guitar-making and product design, and spends a valuable part of his time drawing or painting.

Chehab's interest in architecture became manifest since high school where he explored urban planning as part of his final year art class project entitled "Beirut Utopia". His love for art and architecture developed during his faculty years, and his approach to both subjects became much more diverse. By the time he graduated from university, he had already experimented with various design tools and acquired a variety of useful 3D modeling, animation and rendering techniques.
