For the purpose of the 2019 Cosmoprof exhibition in Bologna (Italy), the natural cosmetics company Beesline asked for the design of a display stand which can illustrate the company’s vision and concept. Since many of Beesline’s products derive from beeswax, an interesting aproach to the design of the wall feature was the use of a deformed hexagonal grid as a geometrical figure alluding to beehives and honey. The hexagons would be further abstracted by extruding some of them to become the support for displayed products. Out of the remaining hexagons on the wall, some of them are then simply turned into lighting features.
