This concept train wagon was part of an exploration dedicated to the design of a new full-fledged transportation network and its rolling stock for the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The concept 3D train has a number of various other prototypes which were studied with regards to their relevance to the context and which designs were evaluated according to size, proportions, aerodynamic quality, symmetry, passenger capacity and transport efficiency. The trains are envisaged in such a way as to have them colour-coded with respect to the different metro lines and the multiple way-finding strategies proposed in the city.
